The Fairweather Programs

provide supportive housing, case management, life skills training, and supportive employment opportunities for people with significant disabilities so that they can achieve a life full of stability, successes, and self sufficiency.

  • The Fairweather Family Lodge (FFL) provides case management, life skills training, employment assistance, educational guidance and other supportive services for women with mental illness and their children in an apartment style campus.
  • The Fairweather Lodge (FWL) provides case management, life skills training, employment assistance and other supportive services in agency community homes located in the San Antonio area for single men and women with serious and chronic mental illness.
  • Enfield House is located in Fayetteville, North Carolina and provides safe and affordable housing, case management, life skills training, and job skills training for people with disabilities.
  • Reveille Retreat provides safe and affordable housing, case management, medication management, access to food, life skills training, and job skills training for homeless women and their children living in Cumberland County with preference given to Veteran women.
  • Monarch Place, Viceroy Village, & Regal Village are apartment complexes in San Antonio that offer reduced rent for those with persistent and serious mental illness.

Services include:

  • A safe, stable and secure place to live
  • Life skills training in topic areas such as: financial management, conflict resolution, healthy relationships, problem solving, leadership and group decision skills
  • Case management services
  • Group and individual counseling
  • An individualized assessment of the mother and children’s needs (FFL only)
  • Parenting training (FFL only)
  • Developmentally focused onsite licensed childcare and learning center (FFL only)
  • Assistance in meeting educational needs of school age children (FFL only)

Program Goals:

  • Provide a safe, healthy, stable and caring environment
  • Increase self-sufficiency and family/personal income through education, job training and job placement.
  • Symptom Management
  • Decrease episodes of homelessness and/or acute psychiatric care.

Admission Criteria:

    • FFL: women with mental illness and other disabilities, and their children under 18 years of age
    • Fairweather Lodge: men with mental illness
    • Enfield House: men and women with disabilities with a preference to Veterans and Veteran households
    • Reveille Retreat: Veteran women with disabilities and their children under 18 years of age
    • Monarch Place, Viceroy Village, and Regal Village: men and women with mental illness and other disabilities
