EL PASO, TX – Endeavors is pleased to announce that Jeanette James, valued employee and Lead Clinician, has been promoted to Clinic Director of the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors. James moved into the interim role in October of this year.
Jeanette has been an integral member of the Cohen Clinic since it opened in 2017. Her leadership, and most importantly her work with Veteran clients and families, has been recognized during her time.
Jeanette James has seven years of experience working with military and Veteran populations in the mental health field with a focus on trauma. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with a master’s level education in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. She is a certified member of the National Board of Certified Counselors and an active professional member of the Texas Counseling Association. Jeanette recently completed consultation that prepared her to be a stamped approved supervisor by the Beck Institute to supervise others in providing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She has nine years of diverse management experience in both social service non-profit and for profit agencies, where she was able to supervise others while providing direct care services herself.

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors, provides high-quality, accessible, and integrated mental health care to Veterans and their families. Treatment is available to any person who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Reserves, regardless of role while in uniform, discharge status, or ability to pay.
